Water Proofing

Moisture does penetrate concrete and when it meets up with the “reo” (the steel reinforcing which any competent concretor should have put down) it starts to oxidize the steel ,which then expands and can crack your concrete.

Mmm so that is where those cracks come from.

Where water seeps through the concrete it brings with it salts which then harden and mark the concrete in a very ugly fashion. So we can clean,then  reseal with a waterproofing compound.

We have a product that will,once applied (to either side of the concrete), penetrate the concrete “looking” for moisture and on contact will form crystals that are waterproof. Effectively forming a barrier to stop that seepage.

Yet another product in our arsenal can stop active flowing leaks, from concrete tanks.

Sealers

Sealers are important in this industry, they lock in the vibrant colours and lock out the elements. There are almost as many types as there surfaces. We will suggest the best cost effective  for your job

This is an example of a penetrating sealer option, notice how the water is pooling on top of the pavers.

This sealer was actually applied to very porous pavers, our client’s problem was water would penetrate the paver and mould would grow and give her more work. She was understandable thrilled with the end result.
